INDIVIDUAL TRANSITIONAL EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT (ITEA)
Background:
This type of agreement is intended for those employers using AWAs as at 1 December 2007. ITEAs can be used for existing employees on an AWA who change over and for new employees, so that prior AWA and new ITEA may operate side in a transition period to end of 2009.
By providing this type of agreement Labour is making 'non union' agreements available until further changes through their ‘Forward with Fairness’ amendments become law on 1 January 2010.
ITEA are available on this site in FOUR formats: Fulltime, Part Time, Fixed Term
or Casual.
